Week 3 Of Term 3

It's already the 3rd week back to school!. YAY!!. I feel better to be back at school. So today on this blog post I am going to share with you some amazing things I've done so far this term. Well to do this I am going to use emojis again.

This is my first emoji. I chose this emoji because this week and last week we have been learning about starting our speeches (Also a bit of term 3). We have to produce a speech that is explaining about a charity that is helping the world to stop polluting and basically just stop global warming. I am super proud of my plan and all the effort I put into the commas workshop and in my plan. I was focused at all times and was never off task. I also was looking at my book standards to keep them up to date. Another thing, when I started writing my actual speech I am super duper proud of the rich vocabulary I used in my speech.

This is my second emoji. I chose this emoji because today (Thursday) we had our maths strategy workshop. I was curious about the different types of strategies that I can use to help me solve subtraction problems. But the one that we were focusing on in particular was add, don't subtract. It was basically you were reversing a subtraction problem into an addition problem and then the problem becomes an addiction problem. In order, to solve the problem easily we used a number line.

This is my third emoji. I chose this emoji because tomorrow (Friday) is the GEG summit. A bunch of learners from LH6, LH3 and some other learners from other schools have brought up a presentation about something cool using digital tools or robots. They share their knowledge with other learners and then they give each other feedback and feedforward. I'm not a presenter but I am a participator or attendee and I'm lucky enough to be included in other people's workshops.

Thank you for taking your time out to read this blog post. I know, I know it was SOOOOOO Long!!. I'm sorry but I will try and make my blog's a bit shorter.

                                                 THANK YOU!!

  1. Hi Shreya,
I enjoyed reading this blog post immensely and don't think that it's too long at all!

Reading all about the aspects of this week that you are proud of was especially wonderful. I am also really impressed with your dedication to writing the perfect, persuasive speech. You're also making a great deal of progress when it comes to using commas.

With regards to your other 2 emoji reflections, I know that you will enjoy the GEG day tomorrow, and hope that you will continue to use all the new strategies that you learned in your maths workshops.

Continue being the superb, passionate learner that you are! You're a star!
