On Friday 30th June, Week 9 LH6 went to the science roadshow at our school!!. Yep, that's right this year Ormiston Primary School hosted the Science Roadshow in the multi-space!!. There are hosts from LH6 and they are helping other learners with different activities. Today we were observing different science experiments the Science Roadshow leaders had planned. One of the leaders were Shane Kingston.
There were experiments like the elephant toothpaste which is not actually made for elephant's to brush their teeth, that's just the name of the experiment. Another experiment we did was with liquid nitrogen which is -346°F and dried ice temperature is -109.3°F. They are both REALLY COLD!!. When they react with water it creates a water vapor. Also, the Science Roadshow helped me so I could understand science in a more fun and creative way.
My next steps would be to dig even deeper into the learning and experiments that maybe I could even start an iExplore or learn more about the experiments and share my learning with my family and friends.
THANK YOU!!!
Hi Shreya,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a very well structured blog post. You are putting a lot of effort into your writing and I can see your personal voice developing.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed the Science Roadshow and it has made you consider new iExplores. What areas of science captured your interest today?
